The school campus was abuzz with excitement as students gathered to celebrate Children’s Day with a series of joyful activities and a vibrant fete organised by the school administration. The event featured a delightful mix of games, food stalls, dance and other fun-filled activities. The celebration began with a special assembly where teachers dressed up like children conducted school prayer, thought of the day, Bible reading, etc. They also presented a cultural programme, a funny news channel, and a group dance, which won enthusiastic applause from the students who were surprised to see their teachers on stage. Students were also apprised of the significance of Children’s Day, marking the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known for his affection toward children. The highlight of the day was the school fete, which offered various games like Touch Me Not, Hit the Rat, Spinning Wheel, The Hammer Ball, Marble Game, Burn the Candles, etc. Food stalls offered a variety of treats, including noodles, pav bhaji, burgers, pizza, bhelpuri, tikki chat and golgappa, dosa, idli, ice creams, etc.
