Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr Sec Public School, Sec 40-C, Chandigarh

The school celebrated Parkash Purb of Guru Harkishan on its premises. The celebrations commenced with the ‘Bhog’ of Sehaj Path of Guru Granth Sahib, followed by melodious ‘shabad kirtan’ by the school senior and junior choir. ‘Bhai Sukhdeep Singh Ji and Sathi’ also presented melodious ‘shabad kirtan’ that mesmerised the ‘sangat’. Tegampreet Kaur of Class XII gave a speech highlighting the life and teachings of Guru Harkishan. Harlivleen Kaur of Class III recited a beautiful poem on the Guru. After this, a brief report of the academic, sports and cultural achievements of the school for the session 2023-24 was presented by students. The students, who performed exceptionally in various fields, were also honoured on the occasion. The pre-primary wing of the school celebrated Parkash Purb a day before. The celebrations came to an end with the Path of Anand Sahib, followed by Guru ka langar.
