The school organised the Primary Years Sports Day at Sports Stadium, Sector 46, Chandigarh. It was a resounding success, bringing together students, parents, and faculty for a day filled with enthusiasm, energy, and sporting spirit. The event featured an exciting array of activities, highlighting the importance of physical fitness and teamwork in young learners. The day commenced with a vibrant and colourful march-past, followed by Director Avinash Kaur declaring the sports meet open. A series of fun-filled races was organised where students showcased their speed and agility. The races, ranging from sprints to relay events, were keenly contested, drawing cheers from the audience. In addition to the track events, participants also demonstrated their flexibility and concentration in a display of yoga, promoting wellness and mindfulness. The event saw impressive displays of drill exercises as well as lively dance performances that captivated the audience. Students participated with great enthusiasm, demonstrating their discipline and team spirit. Principal Poonamjit Kaur expressed her pride in the students’ efforts and highlighted the importance of sports in nurturing physical, mental, and emotional growth. The day concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners.
