Shivalik International Convent School, Nangal Chowk

A Children Science Congress at the sub-divisional level was inaugurated at Government Senior Secondary School, Pragpur, in which about 500 students from 88 schools of Dehra subdivision participated. Students of Shivalik International Convent School, Nangal Chowk, maintained their dominance and displayed their talent in the entire subdivision. The model of Sarika Thakur of the school stood first. The theme of her model was waste management and sustainable things. Her model was highly appreciated by all the judges and the chief guest. In the science quiz, Soha and Kritika in the junior category and Sakshi and Aanchal in the senior category secured second place. Students of Shivalik International Convent School won the science quiz, mathematics and science model competition and received prizes for their excellent performance. Sarika Thakur will represent Kangra district in the district-level competition.
