Student of the school in a bid to create awareness among the residents of Chandigarh took out a rally with roaring slogans on celebrating Green Diwali this year. The rally commenced from the school premises. Students of the Social Service & Environment Club and Class IX along with their teachers carried the banners and placards with a strong message, “Say No to Crackers” and “Celebrate Green Diwali”. The rally was initiated with an important cause to protect our environment.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
