To make the students understand the importance of Diwali, the kindergarten wing of the school had a celebration on school premises. Amarjit explained the importance of Diwali through a PPT, the festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. The students of UKG sang a ‘shabad’, keeping the importance of Bandi Chor Diwas in mind. The tiny tots presented poems, dance and speech. Various cultural programmes and activities were organised on the school premises. Students of kindergarten dressed themselves in colourful clothes to enjoy the festival. Students celebrated Diwali by decorating ‘diyas’ and by making a beautiful ‘rangoli’. Later, the principal of the school congratulated everyone for the great effort.
