The India Today Group organised an ‘Education Conclave’ in New Delhi on June 28 to discuss the New Education Policy. Pawan Garg, president of various educational institutes and Dherminder Khera, Principal, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Sen Sec Public School, Ladwa, attended the conclave as special invitees. Pawan Garg said the conclave was inaugurated by Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, who was introduced by Raj Chengappa, Group Editorial Director (Publishing), India Today. He said the Education Minister stressed on blended mode of education and the New Education Policy would restructure the education sector. It would lead the country out of decades of dilemma, doubts and would provide students at every level with quality knowledge and skills to reap the benefits of knowledge. Dherminder Khera said stress was laid on skill education, teacher training and hybrid mode of education.
