The school witnessed theatrical grandeur through the excellent enactment of timeless tales “The Necklace” by famous French author Guy de Maupassant and “Kabuliwala” by Noble laurete Rabindranath Tagore. The classics were splendidly showcased by the budding actors of Class VIII and Class V, respectively. The chief guest was Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, president, Chandigarh Group of Colleges. The guest of honour was Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director, CGC, Jhanjeri. Bismin Dhaliwal, Director, Students’ Affairs, CGC, Landran, was the distinguished guest. The captivating performances of the lead actors, especially Matilde, Rehmat and Mini spellbound the audience. Their nuanced emotional expressions depicting the complexities of human relationships brought out the emotional resonance of the audience too. ‘Kabuliwala’ transported the viewers to the mesmerising land of Afghanistan with the soulful rendition of “Ae mere pyare watan” by the choir.
