The NSS Wing of the school organised a road safety awareness workshop for students of classes XI and XII and the transport staff of the school. The event was also attended by the Class IX students of the partner school, Government Model High School, Sector 28, Chandigarh, under the partnership programme of government and private schools. Assistant Sub-Inspector Sanjay delivered an insightful lecture emphasising the importance of following traffic rules for personal safety. He highlighted the need for choosing the right helmets, including checking for ISI marks and using the BIS Care App for verification. Inspector Dr Pravesh Sharma conducted a practical session on administering first-aid to accident victims. The workshop concluded with an engaging quiz, where Sanjana and Vanshika (host school) and Somya Pandey (Government Model High School, Sector 28, Chandigarh) won trophies presented by the Chandigarh Traffic Police. The event inspired students to practice and promote road safety.
