School students presented a glimpse of the Parliament session by hosting Mock Parliament. The event was brought to its glory by strenuous efforts of students of classes IX-XII. The students were dressed as Assembly Speakers, Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Parliamentary dignitaries, and other delegates. Children presented various procedures, protocols and brought multiple agendas on the floor. The session was presided over by the principal and other teachers. A panel of two teachers carried out the judgement and chose the performers of the day. The session concluded with awarding students with certificates for being the Best Speakers and facilitators. A school alumnus shouldered the responsibility of the Speaker and maintaining the decorum of the floor. It was an excellent initiative taken by the faculty members of the Social Science Department.
