Education involves a right balance of academic and co-curricular activities. How is your institution providing this balance to students?

There are several techniques that can be applied to perpetuate both of these things. Between academics and co-curricular activities, a very fine line exists that must be preserved by applying different methods of prioritising, planning, organising, taking advice, acquiring a positive mind set and keeping away from procrastination. The person who accomplishes sustaining this fine line will henceforward become multi-skilled and versatile in every field.

What are the assessment practices used in your school?

Formative assessment includes class discussions, group activities, quizzes, spontaneous question and answer sessions, periodic student feedback, homework, SBAAP, BCTL, Als, SADs and CDKS. Summative assessment includes final examinations, presentations, term papers and research projects.

Sports and co-curricular activities for students.

Facilities are available for several indoor and outdoor games. Most praise worthy is our cricket academy, tennis, skating, horse riding, football, taekwondo and shooting teams. NEP-2020 has laid special emphasis on vocational skills and entrepreneurships. How is your school providing these two through curriculum?

The school has different vocational skill subjects as a part of its curriculum. Subjects included are food, nutrition & dietetics; marketing; mass media; information technology; artificial intelligence; coding, etc. Entrepreneurship skills; pottery; culinary skills; robotics, etc, are also imbibed in the curriculum.

What measures has the school taken to help students cope with stress and to develop their EQ?

For collaborative learning opportunities, group projects, peer tutoring, and team-based activities that foster cooperation, communication, and social skills are undertaken. It enhances emotional intelligence through navigating social dynamics, resolving conflicts, and building strong relationships. For creating emotionally safe classrooms, we cultivate an environment where students feel comfortable expressing emotions. It empowers students to develop their emotional intelligence without fear of judgment.

As the head of this institution what is your vision and how you are making it a reality?

A student is given child-friendly environment where he/she is given a platform to explore his/her wings. They are free to ask questions and experiment. They are provided with world-class infrastructure, par excellence faculty to teach with latest technology and become global citizens.

Motto of your school and how are students being trained to follow it?

The motto of our school is ‘You shall live with effort’. The school motto encourages students to embrace hard work, perseverance, and dedication in all aspects of their lives. It inspires them to approach challenges with a strong will, giving their best in academics, personal growth, and character development. By putting in consistent effort, students can cultivate resilience, achieve their goals, and build a foundation for lifelong success. This motto highlights the importance of striving towards excellence through determination and continuous improvement.
