Talented and resourceful educators of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas of Chandigarh region participated in ‘Samriddhi’, an online competition to provide a platform to showcase teachers’ creativity and ingenuity in innovative pedagogies with art integration. The competition is an initiative by the NCERT, New Delhi, to promote multidisciplinary pedagogy at the secondary level of school education. The event was organised under the patronage of Capt Teena Dhir (retd), Deputy Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Chandigarh Region. RK Verma, Assistant Commissioner (Academics), NVS, Chandigarh region, lent his expert guidance to the participants. The event was organized at PM Shri School, JNV, Chandigarh, under the leadership of Principal AS Bhullar. The competition was initiated at the cluster level where six best entries from three clusters were selected for the regional level and at the regional level one entry was selected for onward submission. The first position at the regional level was bagged by Neha Sharma, TGT, English, JNV, Anantnag, second position by Kulwinder Sharma, TGT, English, PM Shri School, JNV, Mandi, and third position by Rajinder Singh, TGT, Maths, PM Shri School, JNV, Hoshiarpur.
