The school hosted a National Gender Sensitisation, POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Awareness Programme. The event aimed to create a safe and inclusive environment for students, teachers, and staff while promoting awareness of gender equality and legal safeguards against harassment and abuse. The session was led by Reena, adolescent counsellor, and gender rights advocate from the Zonal Hospital, who elaborated on the key aspects of the POSH and POCSO Acts. Real-life case studies were discussed to help participants understand the practical implications of these laws. Students participated in group discussions and role-plays to learn about identifying and reporting gender-based discrimination and harassment. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by in-charge Principal Anita Kohli, who appreciated the efforts of the organisers and the active participation of students and staff.
