The closing of two-day HP District-level Girls U-17 Boxing Championship was held in the school. Rajesh Bhandari, president of the HP State Boxing Association, attended the closing of the event. Principal Neelam Rana welcomed and thanked all the guests and other dignitaries present. Vanshika Goswami, world boxing champion, was present during the two-day event. Around 105 girls competed from all districts of Himachal Pradesh in the championship. The girls from Una district grabbed the first position under the training of Sonia Rai, while the girls of Kinnaur secured second position under the coaching of Divya Shakti. Swastika, Reet Raj, Kritika, Astha and Yashika from Paras Public School got gold medals, whereas Charvi and Rashmi got silver medals. The State Boxing Association awarded the school with a trophy. Mahesh Chand Katoch, school Director, and Neelam Rana presented ‘pahadi topi’ and shawl to the dignitaries and also presented mementos, medals and appreciation certificates to all girl participants.
