On ‘Jan Jatiye Gaurav Diwas’, the school organised a vibrant and educational celebration to honour the rich cultural heritage and history of India’s tribal communities. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and teachers of Class V. The celebration focused on Birsa Munda, a revered tribal freedom fighter, and his significant contribution to India’s freedom struggle. Students presented a captivating play depicting the life of Birsa Munda and the struggles he faced for the rights of tribal people. Adding to the excitement, a fashion show showcased students dressed in traditional tribal attire, emphasising the diverse clothing and accessories of various tribes. A quiz competition on the life of Birsa Munda was also conducted, testing students’ knowledge and encouraging them to learn more about tribal history. The event included a beautifully arranged exhibition featuring Warli and Gond Art created by students. Teachers, dressed in theme-appropriate attire with black metal jewellery, set an inspiring example for the students.
