Eco-Diwali was celebrated at the school. The whole school wore a festive look with eco-friendly decorations, colourful rangolis, water diyas, state cuisine stalls, students in ethnic attires, set to spread message “Refrain themselves from burning crackers, save Mother Earth”. The young students from Class III to VII proved that creativity and talent do not have boundaries. Attired in beautiful ethnic costumes, students were dressed up as mythological characters of the Ramayana to spread the importance of eco-Diwali and its spiritual significance. The highlight of the show was Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) explained by students of Class VII to celebrate Diwali. They insisted on eco-friendly decorations, zero hunger bank, where all waste food can be collected for the poor, non-polluting decorations. Another attraction was an exhibition on state-wise cuisine stalls that indeed was well laid out with savoury dishes and students as master chefs was a sheer delight to watch.
