The result of Class XII of Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) was declared here today. A total of 2,86,378 students took the exam, of which 2,60,547 passed. The pass percentage of Ludhiana district remains 89.99 per cent and this time, boys have scored better as compared to their female counterparts as far as top scores in all streams are concerned (in Ludhiana).

scored 449/450 marks in commerce stream

in a  cheerful mood with his family.

Rohan from BCM School, Focal Point, and Devinder Singh from Teja Singh Sutantar School scored 449/450 marks each, to top in the commerce stream.

Davinder who got 99.7% in commerce stream
celebrates his success with his
mother and sister. 

In science stream again, two boys – Ankur Pandey from Teja Singh Sutantar School and Rohit from RS Model School have scored 447/450 marks each.

Gagan Kumar(c) who got 99.33% in humanities
 stream with his parents. 

Balwinder Kaur from Government Senior Secondary School, Rajewal, scored 449/450 marks in humanities. Besides, Gagan Kumar from RS Model School and Akahshdeep Singh from Government Senior Secondary School, Swaddi Kalan, have scored 447/450 marks each.

The maximum scorers in all streams including humanities, science and commerce are boys this time. Dedication, hardwork and sincerity play a major role in shaping the future of a person, believe these meritorious students.


Success mantra of toppers

Commerce

Rohan: Very sincere in class education, attended no tuitions. Helpful teachers, always encouraged to work hard and believes in healthy competition. Teachers and parents are motivation. He wants to do law and then sit for Civil Services.

Devinder Singh: Dedicated study. When his father died, there were many financial problems but teachers and the school management encouraged him and waived off a part of fees. Besides, a trust is also helping. Three to four hours of consistent study. He wants to become a chartered accountant.

Humanities

Balwinder Kaur: Dedicated efforts, disciplined life and obedient. Took advice of principal and teachers seriously and gave her 100 per cent.

Science

Rohit: He was nine years old when his father expired and had to face financial constraints. The school provided breather, half fee was waived off. School teachers and landlord motivated him. He wants to become a computer science engineer.

Ankur Pandey: Be focussed. Dream high, achieve high. Disciplined and dedicated towards studies. Believes his friends are genuine and helpful.
