HP Minister interacts with parents, to send feedback to govt for taking decision

With a view to eliciting the views of parents on issues like opening of schools and examinations and addressing other concerns of parents, E-PTM (e-Parents Teachers Meet) would be held in all government schools from June 5 to June 8 and teachers will hold discussions with parents on problems created by Covid 19 pandemic and feedback would be given to government for taking appropriate decision.
Education minister Gobind Thakur, who launched the e-PTM today and interacted with 15 parents in all 12 districts and more than 80,000 students, teachers and parents associated with the programme through live chat on YouTube, said that views of all stakeholders would be considered before taking any decision.
Thakur said that the government is committed to impart quality education to students and sought participation of parents, students and teachers in this task. However, a majority of parents are not in favour of opening of schools till Covid 19 pandemic situation improves said sources.
