The school celebrated its Junior Wing’s Annual Function, ‘Srijan - The Saga of Creation’, at Indradhanush Auditorium, Panchkula. The event mesmerised the audience with captivating performances that explored the theme of creation, taking them through different eras, from ancient times to the present day, highlighting the call to protect and nurture the Earth for future generations. Chief guest was KK Khandelwal (Retired IAS officer) and guest of honour was Deepak Dhiman, Channel Head & Editor of Zee Media (Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh). They presented 101 awards to junior students across various categories, including Excellence in Academics, Art and Craft and Sports. The students were adorned with trophies, fee waivers and cash prizes up to Rs 3,100 for their exceptional achievements. School Principal Urvashi Kakkar presented the school annual report highlighting the milestones. In addition to the Students’ Awards, the Best Teacher Award was conferred upon primary school teacher Ameeta Sapra recognising excellence in teaching. The highlight of the morning was the dramatic presentation ‘Srijan’, where theatre and dance performances vividly depicted the evolution of creation. The ‘Court of Conscience’ act highlighted the urgent need for environmental care, the ‘Maa’ act, supported by soulful dance performances, showcased the deep bond between mother and child, while the Vidya act emphasised upon the true essence of education, conveying profound lessons on the significance of wisdom and knowledge. The event culminated in a grand finale, where all performers took the stage in unison, symbolising harmony and unity. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem.
