Guru Nanak Foundation Public School, Mohali
Students of the school, under the guidance of Principal Poonam Sharma, enacted a vibrant nukkad natak at the Kharar bus stand as part of their “Say No to Single Use Plastic” campaign. The performance aimed to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of single-use plastic on the environment. With zeal and enthusiasm, the students captivated the audience, encouraging passers-by to pause and engage with their message. In an era where attention spans are often limited to just 60 seconds, the students successfully held the audience’s interest for a full 7-8 minutes — a commendable achievement. Following the performance, the students rallied together to raise slogans against the use of plastic, demonstrating their commitment and passion for the cause. The energy and conviction displayed by the participants resonated with the diverse crowd, which included commuters, travellers, and local residents.
