The Dr Rabinder Nath Tagore Club of the school organised a special programme, ‘Nanak Bani’, on Guru Nanak Parkash Purb. The assembly started by paying floral tribute to Guru Nanak Dev, followed by information related to his life and teachings. Harpreet Singh, Patron of the club, delivered an informative speech on Guru Nanak’s life. The main purpose of the programme was to adopt the teaching of Guru Nanak Dev in our life. An inter-house poetry competition dedicated to the verses and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev was conducted. Rajwinder Kaur of Class VII presented a choreography in a very effective manner. Principal Amandeep Singh conveyed the message to all that “Guru Nanak Dev’s teachings are a timeless guide for humanity”. Director Principal Jasbinder Kaur honoured the winners and asked them to practice the teachings of Guru Nanak.
