Gillco International School, Kharar, organises excursion to Mapple Jungle for students
The school organised an enriching excursion to Mapple Jungle, where students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in experiential learning outside the classroom. The adventure trip is part of the school’s ongoing effort to enhance holistic education through hands-on experiences and exploration. The trip offered a variety of exciting activities, including zip-lining, navigating obstacle courses, and team-building exercises. Students embraced these challenges with enthusiasm, learning valuable lessons in teamwork, resilience, and problem-solving. The excursion not only provided practical skills but also encouraged personal growth and strengthened friendships among peers. Speaking about the programme, Principal Dr Kritika Kaushal said, “We believe that education extends beyond textbooks. These excursions are designed to cultivate critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and social skills, aligning with our holistic approach to education. By providing such experiences, we aim to nurture well-rounded individuals who are prepared for life’s challenges.” The students returned with lasting memories, newfound confidence, and a deeper appreciation for nature and teamwork.
