The Annual Sports Meet for the academic year 2024-25, for students of classes V to XII, was held at the school. The event was inaugurated by Bharat B Gupta and Principal Deepika Bhardwaj through a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The programme commenced with a graceful march-past performed by the school council members and NCC cadets, showcasing their unity, synchronisation, and team spirit. Following this, a yoga session, accompanied by melodious chants of ‘shlokas’, created an ambience of peace and positivity. The highlight of the day was the series of sports events. There was lemon spoon race for Class V, sack race for Class VI, three-legged race for Class VII, octopus race for Class VIII, shuttle run for Class IX, 100 metre race for Class X, relay race for Class XI and tug-of-war for Class XII. Parents were also invited to participate in a lively musical chair competition, adding an extra element of fun and engagement. The cheering crowd added to the excitement of the day. Winners of all events and the winners of the national, state and district-level competitions in the school were also honoured with medals and certificates. The event culminated with a vibrant bhangra performance by senior students, leaving the audience awestruck with their energetic moves and traditional attire.
