A blood donation camp was organised in the school. The camp aimed to educate students, parents and the community about the importance of blood donation and encourage voluntary donations. The camp was organised under the guidance of Dr Rashpinder Kaur, Sukhwinder, employee of the Blood Donation Department, and team from Rajindra Hospital, Patiala. With the great initiative of donors, including school principal, vice-principal, staff members and parents, 79 units were collected. The school arranged refreshment for those who donated blood in the camp.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
