DAV Public Senior Secondary School, Rupnagar

The school won the overall and highest participation trophies in the inter-school games, organised in the playground of Khalsa School, Rupnagar, by the Rotary Club, Rupnagar, in which 300 players from 10 government and private schools participated. In these games, boys and girls under the age group of 17 to 19 years performed well in long jump, athletics, football, etc. The tournament was inaugurated by District Sports Officer Jagjeevan Singh. In these games, DAV School students Jayda and Navdeep won first place in 100m race in the under-19 category. Tanu and Rajvir Singh got the second position in 100m race in the under-17 age group of girls and boys. In tug-of-war, DAV School won the first place. The best athlete award went to Navdeep Singh of DAV School, Rupnagar. The maximum participation trophy and runners-up trophies were given to the school.
