Dasehra was celebrated at the school. The school’s unique eco-friendly approach added a meaningful touch to the festivities. Children enacted the role of Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, Ravana marvellously. A role-play of Goddess Durga with detailed description of all her forms was presented very well by students. The effigy of Ravana was filled with neem leaves and set ablaze. The celebration began with a speech that emphasised the importance of Dasehra and its timeless message of justice and virtue. Students enthusiastically participated in an activity where they wrote down their negative thoughts and emotions on pieces of paper, such as bitterness, anger, jealousy, and hatred, and burned them along with the effigy, symbolising their commitment to personal growth and positivity. Principal Sangeeta Mittal praised the students for their thoughtful and environmentally conscious approach.
