A thematic assembly by classes XI-Y and XI-Z was organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of two of India’s greatest leaders Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. A series of performances, including skit and dances, was showcased by the students focusing on the themes of truth and peace. One of the stand-out performances was a short skit depicting important events from Gandhi’s life, including the Dandi March and Non-cooperation Movement. In the spirit of Gandhi’s emphasis on cleanliness, a special cleanliness drive was organised on the campus and nearby village, encouraging the students to contribute to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan reinforcing the idea that cleanliness is next to godliness. Principal Sonali Sharma encouraged the students to imbibe the values of truth, non-violence and selfless service towards society.
