The CBSE Cluster XVII Table Tennis Tournament was declared closed at the school. The event commenced with a grand march past by NCC cadets and Scouts and Guides volunteers, offering a warm welcome to chief guest Dr Rakesh Malik, from the Directorate of Sports, Panjab University, Chandigarh. In the U-14 girls’ singles, Sherrel from DPS, Chandigarh, secured 6the first position. The second position was claimed by Akaal Roop from Learning Paths School, Mohali, while the third position was awarded to Bhumika from St Anne’s, Chandigarh, and Avneet from Manav Mangal Smart School, Mohali. In the U-19 boys’ singles, Eeshan from DAV-8, Chandigarh, took the top spot, with Aditya Gupta from Learning Paths School, Mohali, securing the second place. The third position was shared by Mehtaab from LADM DAV, Budhlada, and Amarasees from Manav Mangal Smart School, Mohali. Following the final match, the closing ceremony commenced with a beautiful welcome song by the host school. The much-anticipated prize distribution followed, celebrating the winners of the tournament. Dr Rakesh Malik addressed the audience. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Principal Anjli Sharma marking the end of a successful and competitive tournament.
