Tributes were paid to Guru Teg Bahadur by the school. The event was organised by the Literary Club of the school. Students of classes I to III were apprised of the life events of the Guru by their teachers, followed by melodious ‘shabad gayan’. Students of classes IV to VIII manifested their gratitude for the Guru who sacrificed his life for the sake of society through declamation, poems and ‘shaloka’ recitation. The whole atmosphere was blissful with the enchanting voices of the students. Principal Upasna Modgil said Guru Teg Bahadur sacrificed his life for the protection of human values and rights. “We should follow his teachings and instil the spirit of nationalism in all of us,” she said.
