The school celebrated its Annual Function, Esperanza ’24, over two days, showcasing the creative and cultural talents of its students. The event, attended by dignitaries, parents, and guests, highlighted the spirit of learning, cultural diversity, and ecological awareness. The first day, themed ‘Aarohi - Circle of Life’, was dedicated to students of classes III to V. It featured thought-provoking performances exploring life’s journey from birth to death. The audience was treated to a variety of acts, including a dramatic rendition of Snow White, the humorous tale of Balli, and an energetic bhangra that captured the vibrancy of Punjab. Performances in English, Hindi, and Punjabi enriched the evening’s storytelling, making it unforgettable. Chief guest DR Yadav praised the students’ creativity and dedication. On the second day, titled ‘Musical Magical Medley’, students from classes I and II delivered enchanting performances, blending the classic tales of Alice in Wonderland and The Jungle Book to promote themes of ecological balance and sustainability. Songs and dances representing cultures from France, India, Spain, South Africa, and Brazil celebrated global diversity. Highlights included the Monkey Song, Jungle Song, and Roar Song, bringing energy and joy to the stage. The event concluded with the Happy Ending Song, leaving the audience uplifted. Chief Guest Kavita C Das commended the young performers and the school’s efforts in fostering creativity.
