The week-long National Service Scheme (NSS) camp commenced at the school. The opening ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, accompanied by the recitation of ‘shlokas’. The inauguration was marked by vibrant cultural presentations by students, highlighting their artistic talents and celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage. A significant moment of the ceremony was the handing over of the NSS flag by Principal Gulshan Kaur. The symbolic gesture underscored the core values of the NSS programme, emphasising responsibility, dedication and service to the community. Addressing the gathering, Gulshan Kaur formally declared the camp open. She inspired the participants by invoking the NSS motto, “Not Me But You”, urging them to wholeheartedly embrace their duties towards society with commitment and enthusiasm.
