Under the Project Veer Gatha, initiated by the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the school organised an interactive session with Army veteran and NSG Commander Brigadier Subhash Chander Rangi (retired) Sena Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal. The session began with the welcome words by Col DS Cheema, member of Bhavan’s Kendra Committee, in which he inspired students to be responsible citizens of the country. Following which, Brig SC Rangi initiated the session by highlighting on the onset of terror attacks and the prompt actions taken by the Indian forces. He narrated the whole story that captivated the interests of the Bhavanites through some heart-wrenching anecdotes. He also made the young generation understand the meaning of ‘Heroes’. He highlighted the need of grabbing the opportunities as they come their way and act wisely. The interactive session raised the curiosity of the students to know more about the tales of valour from Brigadier SC Rangi, which was followed by a question-answer session. Principal Gulshan Kaur expressed her gratitude to Brigadier SC Rangi for motivating the students to choose a path of love towards nation and instil values of civic consciousness.
