The school commemorated the Shaheedi Diwas of Guru Tegh Bahadur with a special assembly organised by Class VII-B. The programme began with a soulful rendition of the prayer “Jo Maange Thakur Apne Se”. The assembly continued with the pledge followed by a meaningful thought, instilling a sense of unity and purpose among all present. A thoughtful speech by a student highlighted the teachings and supreme sacrifices of Guru Tegh Bahadur, reminding everyone of his unwavering dedication to humanity and religious freedom. Two students recited a heartfelt poem, titled “Guru Ji Di Qurbani”, celebrating the Guru’s martyrdom and inspiring the audience with his legacy. Sarbjeet Kaur also shared anecdotes (sakhis) from the Guru’s life, shedding light on his compassion, courage, and spiritual wisdom. Principal Inderpreet Kaur addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of helping those weaker than us and living a life that upholds the values of kindness, tolerance, and selflessness.
