The Art Department of the school organised ‘BVNC Art Workshop 2.0’ for the students of classes V to IX. The workshop was themed ‘Painting a Better World – Exploring Social Issues Through Creative Expression’ and aimed to provide students a platform for self-expression and enable them to become catalysts of social change. Over the course of two days, students explored meaningful social issues, using their creativity to convey impactful messages and fresh perspectives on the world around us. They tried their hands on a variety of art techniques, used different art mediums and even experimented with collage techniques to express their perspectives on various social issues through the medium of art. With guidance from the school’s Art Department, the participants created thought-provoking pieces that showed how art can inspire change. Addressing the participants, Principal Inderpreet Kaur, encouraged the students to become socially aware citizens and become active agents of social change.
