The school hosted a special event, titled “Antrayatra – An Inner Journey”, organised under the auspices of SPIC MACAY. Dr Kiran Seth, founder of SPIC MACAY, addressed an audience comprising directors, Rotarians, principals, teachers, and esteemed citizens from various walks of life in the Tricity. Dr Seth emphasised the critical role of these cultural elements in enhancing concentration, focus, and patience. The event began with the lighting of ‘Jyoti Kalash’, followed by a soulful welcome song that set the tone for the enriching session. The Executive Director of the AKSIPS Group of Smart Schools formally welcomed Dr Kiran Seth. Dr Seth was honoured with a shawl and memento. The objective of the event was to initiate the formulation of a joint workforce comprising schools and SPIC MACAY, with the goal of inculcating in children a deep appreciation and awareness of India’s rich traditions of classical music, dance, and yoga and learn to train their minds to focus and relax through them. Dr Seth presented the audience with a small brooch bearing the SPIC MACAY logo, signifying their commitment to the noble cause. The event concluded with a cup of tea and light refreshment for all.
