In a delightful and engaging activity, the kindergarten students of the school spent a sunny day outdoors participating in the “Shadow Drawing of Animals” event. The creative session focused on helping children learn about the concepts of light and shadow, while exploring the fascinating world of animals, both wild and domestic. The activity involved children positioning animal figurines in the sunlight to observe their shadows and then tracing the outlines of these shadows on paper. This hands-on experience not only encouraged creativity and fine motor skills but also introduced the young learners to fundamental scientific concept in an interactive manner. The theme of “Wild and Pet Animals” added an exciting twist, sparking conversations about the differences between animals found in jungles and those living in homes. The children enthusiastically drew lions, elephants, cats, dogs, and more, filling their drawings with vibrant colours and stories.
