Students of St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, excelled in the Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshini 2024-25, held at SCERT, Sector 32. Tijil Kanna clinched the first position under the sub-theme agriculture, followed by Keshav Saini and Harshit Sharma at the joint second position. Aashi Gautam and Aarush claimed third position under the theme food, health and hygiene, and Venya and Maitri of Class 8, who demonstrated skill under mathematics modelling theme. Yogit Goel and Peehu Bansal bagged a consolation prize.

The much-anticipated Sports Fiesta 2024 was celebrated with great enthusiasm by young athletes of Ashiana Public School. The festivities began with an impressive March past and melodious school anthem sung by the students. Thereafter, students actively participated in an array of performances, which enthralled the audience.

The event was inaugurated by the Director, Maj Gen TPS Warraich (retd) and featured an impressive array of working models on topics such as Fractions, Geometry, 3D Art, Reflection Art, Symmetry and the Fibonacci sequence, which illustrated the Golden Ratio in nature, art and architecture.

Infant Jesus Convent School, Mohali

Infant Jesus Convent School, Phase 11, celebrated annual day emphasising on the themes of ‘Guardians of Tomorrow’ and ‘Eduvate: Blend of Education and Innovate’. The two-day celebrations featured performances such as the well-choreographed Symphony of Togetherness, the innovative Robotic Dance, the graceful Odissi Dance, the energetic Bhangra, and a silent yet impactful mime on the power of social media.

The three-day book fair and literary festival, organised by Vidya Bharati Punjab, concluded at Sharda Sarvhitkari Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 40, on December 8. The inaugural session was attended by Vijay Nadda, founder of the Book Fair and North Zone Organisation Minister, along with others. He stressed that receiving a good book at the right time can be life changing.
