Partap World School, Pathankot, hosted a career fair ‘Odyssey 2024’, an event that provided students, parents and educators an opportunity to explore future options in higher education and emerging career paths. The fair took place on October 4 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm, and was open to students of Classes VIII to XII from various schools, along with their parents. The event was graced by DFO Amit Sharma, IFS, who inspired the students with his insightful speech, encouraging them to embrace new-age career options and 21st-century skills to step towards a brighter future. More than 40 prestigious universities and institutions from India and abroad participated in this fair. Over 400 students from various schools in Kathua, Pathankot and Nurpur also attended the event, adding to its success. ‘Odyssey 2024’ proved to be an excellent platform for students to make informed decisions about their academic and career aspirations. It also provided parents with an opportunity to actively participate in guiding their children’s career paths.

Ashok Vatika Public school

Amritsar: Aarav Naik, Dharmesh and Gurtaj Singh of Ashok Vatika Public School played an active role in a camp organised by the NCC’s Battalion 11 under the command of Colonel Birender Kumar. Organised at ITI Government College, Ram Tirath, the camp was scheduled from September 24 to October 3. During the camp, students were trained through various activities. They enthusiastically participated in parades, races, drills and other activities, through which they learnt the value of games in life. To master the skills of discipline and understand the value of time, they underwent rigorous training. The camp firmly focused on physical training of the students, ensuring proper diets fro them. They were also introduced to the use of weapons, maps and compasses.
