School notes: Manav Mangal, Zirakpur
Manav Mangal Smart World, Zirakpur, organised an annual sports fest. Students took part in various athletics events. The event began with the lightning of the ceremonial lamp by Jugraj Singh, who won gold in the CBSE national skating championship. Principal Aneela Kinder applauded the efforts of students.

The annual sports day felicitation-cum-alumni meet was organised by Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 16, with great enthusiasm. The programme opened on an exhilarating note with the release of vibrant, multi-hued balloons, symbolising the spirit of freedom and celebration. A horse riding show was also organised, where students displayed their equestrian skills. The school also awarded national and state-level medal winners.
St Soldier School, Panchkula
A special assembly was organised at St Soldier’s School to commemorate the Constitution Day. The event featured a detailed speech in which students were informed about the historical significance of the day, marking the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1949.

The UMEED Interact Club of Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, organised a Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) session on the girl child awareness, in collaboration with Rotary Club, Chandigarh. Rev Sr Venita Joseph, principal, shared an inspiring message about “wings of hope and progress,” emphasising the importance of education and empowerment as transformative forces in the lives of young students.

Gurukul Global School organised an video conference to connect the students of Class VIII with their peers who are currently on an Educational tour of Europe. During the call, the students on tour shared their awe-inspiring experiences at Euro Space Centre.
PM Shri Air Force Station KV
Saksham Yadav, a student from PM Shri Air Force Station, Kendriya Vidyalaya, High Ground, also a bronze medallist in the World Taekwondo Championship, was honoured on World Children’s Day. She received the honour from Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary and Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra.
DAV Public School, Rupnagar
A First Senior Secondary Classes Athletic Meet was organised to mark the 100th Foundation Day of DAV Public School, Rupnagar. The function was inaugurated by SP (Headquarters) Arjun Awardee Olympian Rajpal Singh Hundal and DAV Management Committee manager Ravinder Talwar by hoisting the flag.
