School notes: KB DAV School, Chandigarh
An assembly focused on the theme of ‘mental health, bullying, and excessive use of mobiles’ was organised by the students of Class 7. The event aimed at laying emphasis on the creative and critical side of the brain and to spread awareness against becoming victims of modern technology.
Kids R Kids School, Chandigarh
The school organised a variety of activities to immerse students in the spirit and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev. The entire school came together on the special occasion. The primary classes engaged in poster-making and other activities.

The ‘ICSE Inter-School Science Symposium’ was organised by the school on their campus in Zirakpur. Children participated in different events, including declamation, collage making, and PowerPoint presentations.
Bhavan Vidyalaya, New Chandigarh
The school conducted a charter presentation and installation of its first ‘Interact Club’. The ceremony was presided over by chief guests Rtn Jitender Kumar Kapur and Rtn Avantika Khurana, presidents of Rotary Club Chandigarh and Rotary Club New Chandigarh, respectively. The newly elected president, Malvika Raj Negi, introduced her team and articulated her vision for the club, setting an inspirational tone.
PMSHRI KV BHANU
Vidyalaya Library organised a series of enriching activities that connected students with the world of books and knowledge. The school collaborated with the local library at BTC ITBP, Bhanu. The students engaged in guided tours of the library, learning about its resources and the importance of reading.
Gillco School, Mohali
Aameen, Harsimran Kaur, and Jasleen Kaur of Gillco International School participated in the 6th AFS National Meet organised on the theme of ‘Dare to Change—Be a Changemaker’. The event was attended by 170 students from more than 60 schools across India to cultivate leadership, promote cultural exchange, and nurture global citizenship.
Sacred Heart-26, Chandigarh
An inter-house tug of war event was organised by the school authorities on cmapus. The teams of St Joseph’s, St Clare, and St Francis claimed the first three positions, respectively.
Sri Guru Harkrishan-38, Chandigarh
The annual sports meet of the school concluded at the Sector 7 Sports Complex. Around 450 students from classes VI to XII participated in various events. The winners were awarded medals and certificates.
