School hosts declamation contest

The local Wisdom School of Academics and Sports hosted an Inter-House English Declamation Competition on Saturday, to hone the oratorical skills of the students. The children performed with zeal under the guidance of their teachers who prepared them to deliver the speech. Amrit Khera, Director, Shweta Sehgal, Administrator, and Gurpreet Johal, principal of the school, said the students displayed their oratorical talent by giving speeches related to sports. It was a treat to hear all the participants delivering the speeches with enthusiasm and perfection, speaking confidently with expressions and excellent diction.

Principal Gurpreet Johal and school counsellor Isha judged the competition. The principal appreciated the efforts of the participants and encouraged other students to come forward and participate in such events. The competition was organised and mentored by the teachers of the school. The students were awarded prizes by the principal.
