A session on ‘Good Touch and Bad Touch’ was conducted by Dr Indu for the pre-primary classes at the school. She used simple and age-appropriate language to explain the difference between good and bad touch, ensuring the children were informed without feeling overwhelmed. She introduced the concept of a ‘safe circle’ using colourful props, helping children identify trusted individuals they can turn to in times of need. An educational video featuring swimsuit areas was shown to explain which parts of their body are private and should not be touched by anyone. Dr Indu emphasised that even when visiting a doctor, it should only be with parents or trusted individuals from their safe circle. The session was interactive, engaging the children through questions, activities, flashcards, PowerPoint presentation, and a short video titled ‘Komal’.
