Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has pledged to rebuild Haryana to contribute toward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) by 2047, a goal aimed at fulfilling the dreams of India’s revolutionary heroes. He assured the public that all promises made in the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ manifesto ahead of the Assembly elections will be honoured, guiding Haryana’s 2.80 crore citizens forward on a path of development without discrimination.

Gohana, renowned for its iconic Matu Ram’s jalebi, saw an unexpected twist on Friday when CM Saini visited the famous shop along with state BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli and Minister Dr Arvind Sharma. The CM prepared and tasted jalebis, a gesture that quickly went viral on social media.

Addressing a large rally in Gohana on Haryana Day and Vishwakarma Jayanti, CM Saini said, “The present state government is dedicated to realising the vision of an empowered and progressive India, as envisioned by our revolutionary heroes.” He emphasised that his administration will usher in a new era of development in Haryana by fulfilling all pledges made in the election manifesto.

Extending his greetings for Vishwakarma Jayanti, Haryana Day, Diwali, Bhai Dooj, and Gopashtami, Saini highlighted that the BJP government in Haryana, now serving its third consecutive term, is committed to working tirelessly for the aspirations of the state's 2.80 crore citizens under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

“As Haryana completes 58 years of progress, all communities deserve congratulations for their contributions,” Saini said, adding that government officers have been directed to expedite project implementations in alignment with the promises made in the election manifesto. He also thanked party workers and voters for their confidence in the BJP, crediting their support for the party’s historic win. Under the framework established by former CM Manohar Lal Khattar, he said the "double-engine" government would continue to push forward at high speed.

Saini also criticised the Opposition, saying, “During the elections, Congress spread misleading information on unemployment and attempted to delay the recruitment of thousands of youth, revealing an anti-youth mindset. The public, especially the youth, recognised the BJP’s commitment to securing their future, rejecting favouritism and ‘parchi-kharchi’ practices.”

BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli said, “Under CM Nayab Singh Saini’s leadership, the BJP government will fulfil the promises made in the manifesto for Assembly elections. Initiatives such as providing permanent jobs to 24,000 youth, implementing Supreme Court-mandated reservations for the Deprived Schedule Caste (DSC), and offering free dialysis in hospitals exemplify our unstoppable momentum.”

Cooperation Minister Dr Arvind Sharma highlighted the impact of PM Modi’s Vishwakarma schemes in fostering self-reliance among youth, and applauded CM Saini’s efforts to provide minimum support price (MSP) for crops and other measures benefitting the underprivileged, winning public admiration.

The event saw the attendance of dignitaries including Deputy Speaker Dr Krishan Midda, MLA Nikhil Madaan, MLA Pawan Kharkhoda, and MLA Devender Kadyan.
