Saini takes a dig at Hooda in Sonepat
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today took a dig at the Congress and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at a public meeting held in support of BJP candidate from Gohana Dr Arvind Sharma and Pradeep Sangwan from Baroda Assembly constituency.
Lambasting the former Chief Minister, Saini said Hooda remained in power for 10 years and he (Saini) could work only for 56 days. Still, if he (Hooda) wants, he can compare the tenures of both and see who has done more work, the CM said. He said his work in 56 days was a trailer of development and the real picture would be shown after the results on October 8.
Accusing the Congress, Saini said today is the time to take revenge for the way women, youth and poor were tortured during the Congress regime.
Saini said the people had rejected Hooda 10 years ago and claimed that the people of the state would not give the chair of Haryana to Congress this time also.
The people in the state have permanently ousted Hooda from power, he said.
Boosting the morale of party workers, the Chief Minister appealed to them to work hard till the elections are over. He also appealed to them to ensure maximum voting in favour of the BJP, the CM said.
Gohana candidate Arvind Sharma and Baroda candidate Pradeep Sangwan also addressed the gathering.
Accusing the Congress, Sharma said the Congress leaders were not changed even after the public had rejected them in 2014.
Chief Minister Saini has taken 126 historical decisions within 56 days and made the state first in the country which is purchasing all crops on the MSP, Sharma added.
