Taking a dig at the BJP, Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda has said both engines of BJP double-engine government at the Centre and the state had broken down in such a way that they were not even worth repairing.

Deepender was addressing a poll meeting in the Sector-1 and 2 locality here late on Sunday evening to appeal to the electors to make Congress candidate Bharat Bhushan Batra win from Rohtak by a huge margin.

“After misusing the resources of the state together for four-and-half years, the BJP and JJP broke their agreement to make a fool of people before the elections. But, their collusion is still going on behind the scenes but now, people know about it and are eagerly waiting for October 5 to oust the BJP from power,” said the MP.

He said the BJP had known about the resentment prevailing among people against it, so it had fielded Independents and candidates of other parties for the division of votes but the voters need to stay away from them to foil this conspiracy.

Launching an attack on the BJP, the MP said in the past 10 years, the BJP had derailed Haryana from the track of development and brought it to number one in the country in unemployment, inflation, crime, migration, drug addiction and corruption.

Raising the issue of migration to foreign countries through the ‘donkey’ route for employment, Deepender said the BJP government made recruitment without merit, without pension, without reservation through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam and Agnipath Yojana.

“People were forced to get embroiled in portals, family and property ID. The BJP did not pay any heed towards providing jobs to the youth ,” Deepender added.
