He further said that the doctor beat him in the presence of patients and some staff members.

Meanwhile, Dr Asha refuted the slapping allegation. I went to the Civil Surgeon's office only for routine inspection as the employee was not on duty on Wednesday. As I asked him about his absence yesterday from duty, he started making videos and misbehaving with us, she said.

A complaint against him has been given in the police station, she added.

Dr Jayant Ahuja, Civil Surgeon, said the incident was unfortunate.

Both have given their complaints to the Civil Surgeon office and an inquiry has been ordered into the incident, she said.

Dr Asha is posted in the Civil Surgeon's office and holding charge in the Haryana Kaushal Rojgar Nigam (HKRN), he added.

Meanwhile, sources said there was an old tussle between the doctor and class IV employees from the CHC Kharkhoda.
