Rs 368.76 lakh financial assistance given to 436 SC beneficiaries
The Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (HSFDC) has disbursed financial assistance of Rs 368.76 lakh among 436 beneficiaries under various schemes till September during the current fiscal. This amount includes a subsidy of Rs 32.01 lakh.
A spokesperson of the corporation said, “The corporation offers loans to individuals from Scheduled Castes across various categories to help them establish their businesses and pursue self-employment. These categories encompass agriculture and allied sectors, industrial sectors, trade and business sectors and self-employment sectors. Financial assistance is also provided under schemes implemented with the support of the National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation.”
The spokesperson said, “Within agriculture and allied sectors, loans amounting to Rs 181.10 lakh have been given to 227 beneficiaries for activities such as dairy farming, sheep and pig rearing and other occupations. Of this, Rs 168.62 lakh has been released as bank loans and Rs 12.48 lakh as subsidies. In the trade and business sector, Rs 58.10 lakh has been allocated to 61 beneficiaries, which includes Rs 46.52 lakh as bank loans, Rs 5.77 lakh as subsidies, and Rs 5.81 lakh as margin money.”
The spokesperson said, “Under schemes supported by the National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation, a total of Rs 17 lakh has been disbursed to 17 beneficiaries during this period.”
