Various state governments, individuals, NGOs, employees and 6,578 organisations had donated Rs 257.25 crore to Himachal Pradesh for disaster relief in the past two years, stated Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in a written reply to a question asked by Sullah MLA Vipin Singh Parmar during the Question Hour in the Vidhan Sabha today.

He said that the state had received Rs 14,943 crore from the Central Government in 2023-24 and Rs 8,623 crore in 2024-25 under various heads, including funds under Central schemes and externally-aided projects.
