Residents will now be able to share their road safety related grievances and suggestions that will be taken-up by the District Road Safety Committee (DRSC) during monthly meetings. The decision was taken yesterday during a meeting of the DRSC held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav.

An email ID drsc.chd@gmail.com has been created by the Administration, where residents will be able to send their feedback. Officials said that people could send email regarding any issue on road safety, including damaged roads, faulty traffic lights, service lane, etc. “All such issues shall be taken up in the monthly meeting of the DRSC and resolved accordingly,” said an official.

Officials said that issues like installation of pedestrian crosswalk animation displays for the safety of pedestrians, repair or replacement of non-functional CCTV cameras across the city and the recarpeting of the road separating Sectors 44 and Sector 45 was also discussed.
