Residents wake up to a pleasant day

Last night’s rainfall led to pleasant weather in the morning. Ludhiana witnessed 13.8 mm last night and the residents woke up to a pleasing day today.

The maximum temperature witnessed today was 34.8°C while the minimum temperature recorded was 23.0°C.

Morning relative humidity recorded today was 88 per cent while evening relative humidity recorded was 70 per cent.

The weather is expected to remain partly cloudy over Ludhiana and its isolated areas during the next 24 hours.

With the monsoon on, there has been a sudden demand of umbrellas and many make-shift shops have come up along the highways. A person who runs a tea stall was seen selling umbrella near Jalandhar Bypass said that this was the time when he could make some extra bucks by selling umbrellas along with his regular business.
